Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BillWise at billwise.com.au ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
2. Description of Service
BillWise provides:
- Electricity bill analysis and comparison tools for WA households
- Solar, battery, EV charger, and home electrification calculators
- Personalized savings recommendations based on your energy usage
- An installer marketplace connecting you with verified WA solar and battery installers
- Educational content about WA energy tariffs, rebates, and sustainability
3. Accuracy of Information
BillWise uses official WA tariff rates, government rebate data, and industry benchmarks. However:
- Savings estimates are indicative only and based on the information you provide
- Actual savings depend on your specific circumstances, installation quality, weather, and usage patterns
- Tariff rates and rebate programs may change without notice; always verify with Synergy, the WA Government, or the Clean Energy Regulator
- Product prices are market estimates and may differ from actual installer quotes
- Environmental impact calculations (CO2 reduction, tree equivalents) are based on published emissions factors and are approximate
BillWise does not guarantee any specific financial outcome from following our recommendations.
4. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account or requesting quotes
- You may not create multiple accounts for the same household
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
5. Installer Marketplace
When you request quotes through BillWise:
- We match you with verified, CEC-accredited installers in your area
- BillWise facilitates introductions but is not a party to any agreement between you and an installer
- We verify installer credentials (CEC accreditation, ABN, insurance) but do not guarantee the quality of their work
- Disputes between you and an installer should be resolved directly; BillWise may assist with mediation
- Installers pay a referral fee to BillWise; this does not affect your quote price
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false information to obtain quotes or manipulate recommendations
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Platform without permission
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with the Platform's operation or security
- Use the Platform to spam or harass installers
7. Intellectual Property
All content on BillWise (including calculators, tools, text, graphics, and software) is owned by or licensed to BillWise. You may use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
